Job summary

BNY Mellon seeks a Senior Associate, Full-Stack Engineer to lead end-to-end development of scalable, multi-tier applications in Westborough, MA. You’ll build RESTful APIs and microservices, bridging backend and frontend with Angular or React, and apply AI to enhance client and employee experiences.

The role requires 3–6 years of experience, a CS degree (advanced preferred), and strong DevOps practices (Git, Docker, CI/CD) in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3–6 years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Strong backend/frontend with Java 17+ and REST APIs in a microservices setup.
• Frontend: Angular 14+ or React/JavaScript with modern UI patterns.
• Experience with Kafka, testing (JUnit/Mockito), and DevOps (Git, Docker, CI/CD).

Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle development of scalable, multi-tier apps and APIs.
• Translate business needs into robust technical solutions with agile teams.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for performance and security.
• Improve platform resiliency with logging, monitoring, and incident response.
• Promote coding standards, reviews, and high test coverage; mentor others.
• Integrate AI and emerging tech to enhance experiences and delivery.
• Contribute to technical strategy and roadmap for architecture decisions.
