Job summary

AssureSoft is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise healthcare management systems across backend and frontend layers. You will build Java/Spring Boot services, support Vue applications while modernizing toward React, and own features end-to-end.

The role requires strong experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud platforms, and robust CI/CD practices. You will collaborate with distributed teams, participate in Agile ceremonies, and contribute

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience with strong Java expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in Java SE, Java EE, and Spring Boot.
• Strong full-stack experience, including React and/or Vue.js.
• Ability to independently deliver features across backend APIs and front-end UI.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of OO programming, design patterns, and enterprise practices.
• Experience supporting and modernizing legacy Java applications.
• Ability to work independently on medium-to-high complexity initiatives and collaborate with distributed teams.
• Strong communication with technical teams and stakeholders.

• Integrate user interfaces, server-side components, APIs, and databases.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines, including environments using AWS CDK.
• Support and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and related services.
• Collaborate with distributed, cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, maintainable software.
• Manage medium-to-high complexity tasks independently and proactively identify and elevate risks or blockers.
• Gather requirements from internal teams and external stakeholders and propose technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical discussions, architecture decisions, and code reviews.
• Apply automated testing, design patterns, clean code, and software engineering best practices.

Nice to Have

• React strongly preferred; Vue-to-React migration and front-end modernization alongside an existing Spring Boot backend. AWS preferred; GCP/Azure exposure, AWS CDK, and Infrastructure as Code are valuable.


• Kafka or other event-driven architectures; healthcare application experience or familiarity with HIPAA requirements.
