Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Associate, Full-Stack Engineer in Westborough, MA to lead end-to-end delivery of scalable apps with modern UI and API-first design. You will build and secure REST APIs, drive CI/CD, and mentor peers while incorporating AI-enabled tooling to accelerate delivery.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, ensuring observability, robust testing, and resilient platforms that support business goals in fund accounting and investor solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3-6 years of professional full-stack development across backend and frontend.
• Strong Java 17+ and Spring Boot experience; microservices architecture.
• Frontend experience with Angular 14+ or React/JavaScript; modern UI patterns.
• Experience with Kafka, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in unit/integration testing; code quality tools; TDD/BDD familiarity.
• Knowledge of observability, logging, and data modeling for microservices.
• Agile/Scrum teamwork with Jira/Confluence usage; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of scalable multi-tier applications with CI/CD and production support.
• Translate business needs into robust technical solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Design/build RESTful APIs and microservices with focus on performance and security.
• Drive platform resiliency via runbooks, on-call practices, and monitoring.
