Job summary

Globe Life is seeking a Sr. Software Developer III to join our team in McKinney, TX. You will design, build, and ship full-stack web applications, owning quality, performance, and reliability across the full lifecycle.

This hybrid role requires strong front-end and back-end skills, including Vue 3 with Composition API, TypeScript, ASP.NET Core, and secure authentication via JWT/OAuth2. You will mentor teammates and engage with stakeholders to turn complex requirements into scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and shipping full-stack web applications.
• Proficiency with Vue 3, Composition API and TypeScript.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core Web API and C#.
• Experience implementing authentication with JWT and OAuth2.
• Strong SQL Server data modeling and T-SQL capability.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and clean architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack web applications from requirements through production release, owning quality, performance, and reliability.
• Own the front-end architecture and implement Vue 3 applications with Composition API and TypeScript.
• Develop back-end services using ASP.NET Core Web API and Entity Framework Core.
• Implement authentication/authorization using JWT/OAuth2.
• Design robust API integration layers with interceptors, error handling, retry logic, and optimistic UI updates.
• Participate in production support, diagnosing and resolving live issues.
