Job summary

First Advantage in the Mexico region is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to maintain and enhance our end-user platform, focusing on frontend development with React/TypeScript and backend with Node.js. You will work with the Product Owner and Lead Architect to ensure security, quality, and scalable UI solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of frontend experience, strong React/Node skills, and micro-frontend/microservices expertise, plus experience with tests and on-call

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of frontend software development experience.
• Strong experience with React.JS and Node.JS.
• Design and develop micro-frontend/microservices with Node.js.
• RESTful API experience.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Ability to write unit tests and use mocking frameworks.
• Experience with source control in a team.
• On-call rotation participation.
• Understand business requirements and plan accordingly.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software applications per requirements.
• Write, edit, and debug code; understand how applications operate.
• Assist testing and resolve issues; respond to bug reports.
• Mentor junior developers on patterns.
• Review designs and provide feedback.
• Own delivery schedule and estimate effort.
• Design for stability, scalability, and performance.
• Apply test-driven development to designs.
