Job summary

TCG, Inc. in the Washington, DC area seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to support a data platform with Python and Postgres and to build an internal Angular web app.

This hybrid role requires US citizenship and the ability to obtain a Federal clearance. Onsite work is 2–3 days per week in Washington, DC, and candidates must live within commuting distance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years developing Python applications.
• 3+ years JavaScript/TypeScript with Angular preferred.
• 3+ years full stack development experience.
• Experience with DevSecOps tools (Azure DevOps, SonarQube).
• SQL for Postgres or MS SQL Server.
• Strong debugging and Chrome dev tools skills.
• Web security best practices (OWASP Top 10).
• Independent problem solving and customer-focused.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication with Product Owner and federal staff.

Responsibilities

• Support full stack development for a data platform using Python and Postgres.
• Develop frontend with Angular for internal web app.
• Cross-train in ETL, DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies.
• Contribute to PI planning and product roadmaps.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to understand user needs.
• Conduct proactive code analysis for quality and security.
• Ensure security of products and respond to security issues.
• Production support as needed.
