Job summary

PrismHR is seeking a senior full stack engineer to own significant features across the stack, from frontend Angular/TypeScript to Node.js/Express services and the data layer. You will partner with product management, lead code reviews, and mentor junior engineers while shaping test strategies across units, integration, and UI validation.

You will work across the boundary between modern stack and payroll core, tackling complex data and migration challenges with a focus on quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of hands-on full stack development.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript, with substantial single-page application work in Angular.
• Solid Node.js and Express, with real experience designing REST APIs or microservices rather than only consuming them.
• Testing discipline across unit, integration, and functional levels.
• Strong SQL and data modeling ability.
• Demonstrated code review leadership and mentoring.
• Ability to debug across tiers and reason from symptom to root cause under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own significant features end to end across the stack, from design input to production accountability.
• Lead code reviews and uphold the quality bar for the team.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers as part of the role.
• Partner with product management on requirements and with QA on test strategy.
• Document technical designs and ensure smooth migrations between platforms.
