Job summary

Workstream, a mission-driven HR, payroll, and hiring platform, seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer for a hybrid role in Lehi, Utah. You will craft scalable backend and frontend features using Rails, Python, and JavaScript, collaborating closely with product and cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact work.

You will drive test-driven development (TDD) and ensure high-quality, reliable software across distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Python, Java, PHP, or JavaScript for full-stack development.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Senior Full Stack Engineer responsible for full-stack development across backend and frontend.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and engineers to deliver well-scoped features.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Engineering, Product, GTM, and Customer Success teams.
• Advocate for and practice test-driven development (TDD) to ensure high-quality software.
• Contribute to scalable, reliable systems and thoughtful CI/CD processes.
