Job summary

Xealth is seeking a software engineer to design, build, and scale backend services powering EHR integrations and clinical workflows. You will work across distributed systems, APIs, and front-end interfaces to deliver robust healthcare software.

Join a collaborative team focused on high-quality, scalable cloud infrastructure. In this role you’ll collaborate with DevOps, utilize AI-assisted coding tools, and contribute to patient engagement and provider-facing applications.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience building production software systems using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Strong CS fundamentals incl. algorithms, data structures, concurrency and distributed systems.
• Experience designing and building RESTful or event-driven APIs with Node.js/Nest/Express.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core backend services powering Xealth’s EHR integrations and clinical workflows.
• Scale services and APIs, ensure reliability, and optimize performance in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy and operate microservices in AWS using Kubernetes/ECS.
• Leverage automation and AI-assisted coding tools to improve delivery and quality.
