Qualifications

• 8+ years of production software experience across frontend and backend.
• Strong experience with React, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
• Experience designing scalable APIs, distributed systems and cloud-native apps.
• Ability to write high-quality, maintainable code and review others' work.
• Demonstrated track record leading projects end-to-end and mentoring teams.
• Excellent collaboration with product, design, and other engineers.
• Passion for our health-data mission and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack applications powering Datavant's data ecosystem.
• Deliver great user experiences by partnering with product, design, and engineers.
• Develop scalable frontend, backend, APIs, and data-driven services for millions of records.
• Guide technical design; establish architecture patterns for long-term scalability.
• Mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and ownership.
• Own substantial projects from design through deployment and operation.
• Drive innovative health-data solutions with measurable impact.
• Share knowledge through discussions, mentoring, and engineering blogs.
