Job summary

Discern is seeking a skilled full‑stack engineer to join our US‑based team. You’ll contribute to front‑end work with React and TypeScript and back‑end services in Go, shaping a modern SaaS platform for entity management.

You will collaborate with the CTO, product and design leads, and a distributed engineering team, delivering high‑quality software on EST hours while building scalable, reliable systems and robust data models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 5+ years building web/enterprise software using React/TypeScript and Go.
• Strong relational database design and SQL proficiency.
• Experience collaborating with product owners and designers in a distributed team.
• Commitment to code quality, maintainability and test coverage.

Responsibilities

• Develop front-end features with React and TypeScript.
• Build back-end services in Go and integrate with relational databases.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Lead Designer, and engineers to deliver high-quality software.
• Design scalable data models and robust APIs.
• Contribute to testing, debugging, and performance improvements.
