Job summary

HHAeXchange in Washington, DC is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver scalable APIs and frontends using Go and Angular, with GenAI integrations to improve user experience for caregivers and families.

You will mentor teammates, own features end-to-end, and work with product and design to ship reliable software in a fast-paced, startup-like environment. Travel 5-10% domestic and international.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of software engineering experience in modern architectures.
• Proficiency with a reactive JavaScript framework (Angular/React/Vue).
• Proficiency with backend development (Go/NodeJS/Python, Go preferred).
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Experience with microservices and serverless SaaS architectures.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and plan work.
• Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment.
• Knowledge of Jira/Confluence is a plus.
• Healthcare experience with HL7/FHIR interoperability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable APIs and microservices for robust functionality and integrations.
• Develop frontend with Angular and backend with Go, optimizing cloud infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and uphold coding standards.
• Incorporate GenAI into agency management software to boost usability and efficiency.
• Explore new technologies to continually enhance the platform and user outcomes.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver features.
• Maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests for reliability.
• Guide strategic decisions and prioritization with the team.
