Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack for the Factory Platform in Long Beach, CA. You will help build a scalable software foundation automating the rocket factory and launch platform, collaborating with design, manufacturing, and test teams to deliver enterprise-wide applications.

You will implement agile processes, design for performance, and mentor engineers while shaping the digital backbone of our future space endeavors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
• 7+ years of experience building, shipping, and iterating on multiple apps and services.
• Experience designing in collaboration with non-software stakeholders.
• Expert in front-end frameworks (React) and related tools.
• Passionate about mentoring and growing the engineers around you.

Responsibilities

• On the Factory Platform team, you will play a key role in the software development life cycle from initial concept, trade studies, design, implementation, and ongoing iteration.
• Develop applications used to plan and schedule purchasing and manufacturing operations, access and analyze engine and component test data, and several other tools used by engineers and operators across the company.
• Follow agile development practices and implement quality software that is continuously integrated and deployed.
• Solve complex problems with simple solutions. Work directly with users and stakeholder teams to figure out system requirements, implement the solutions, and iterate.
