Job summary

Relativity Space in Long Beach, CA is seeking a senior software engineer on the Factory Platform team to design and ship end-to-end applications for planning, purchasing, and manufacturing operations. You’ll work across design, materials, manufacturing, and test teams to automate workflows and deliver data-driven tools in a fast-paced spaceflight environment.

You will mentor engineers, advocate for quality software, and contribute to a modular, scalable platform powering Terran R operations now

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.
• 7+ years of experience building, shipping, and iterating on multiple apps and services.
• Experience designing in collaboration with non-software stakeholders.
• Proficient in languages and tools you love, and willing to learn new ones.
• Expert in front-end frameworks (React) and related tools.
• Mentoring and growing engineers around you.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in the software development life cycle from concept to iteration.
• Develop applications to plan and schedule purchasing and manufacturing operations and analyze test data.
• Follow agile practices and deliver quality software that is CI/CD.
• Solve complex problems with simple solutions and iterate with users and stakeholders.
