Responsibilities include adding new features to backend systems for portal improvements, building reusable components to support integration partners, creating test data for system design/development, developing new APIs, contributing via code reviews and design discussions, and participating in agile processes (sprint planning, retrospectives, continuous improvement). The role requires balancing quick wins with long-term technical sustainability.Requirements: at least 6+ years of software development experience and 2+ years of healthcare/biotech experience. Experience with HIPAA compliance and healthcare software (or other privacy-focused software) is required/preferred. The candidate should have a proven track record delivering production-grade web applications, experience with CI/CD pipelines, comfort with Python/Django, and experience designing APIs. Genetics experience is preferable.
