Job summary

Sunbound is seeking a full-stack software engineer to join our early team and help grow the product. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the CTO and shape direction, culture, and the architecture of our fintech platform from day one.

You’ll own projects, contribute to design decisions, and drive improvements to our tooling stack while delivering high-quality web applications. This on-site role is three days a week in our New York office, with a strong emphasis on clear

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of software development experience.
• Experience at fintech companies is a major plus.
• Proficiency in full-stack web development.
• Proficiency with React.
• Proficiency with Node.js or Rails or Flask.
• Strong written and verbal communication with non-technical stakeholders.
• Based in New York or San Francisco preferred.
• On-site 3 days a week in NY office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in architectural and engineering design decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on product ideation and direction.
• Define solutions to new problems and own related projects.
• Propose, demonstrate, and implement improvements to tooling stack.
• Provide input on how offline processes can be implemented in product.
• Help build an amazing, world-class product.
