Job summary

Altro is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to build our platform with the CTO and founders. This full-stack role emphasizes frontend work with backend ownership, crafting consumer and partner-facing interfaces used daily by operators and clients.

You will work directly with a seasoned healthtech CTO, ship features end-to-end, and apply AI tooling to speed delivery while maintaining quality. Location: New York City, hybrid schedule with in-office days.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years writing production software, with ownership of features.
• Fluency in TypeScript and React/Next.js, building polished interfaces.
• Experience designing robust APIs (GraphQL or REST) and scalable backend.

Responsibilities

• Build consumer, partner-facing, and clinician-facing interfaces with a polished UI.
• Own features end-to-end from concept to deployment.
• Work full-stack with frontend heavy focus and backend work.
• Collaborate with designer to ship refined UI.
• Leverage AI tooling across the SDLC to improve speed and quality.
• Work in a small cross-functional team across clinical ops, product, design, and sales.
• Engineer for simplicity with minimal dependencies and scalable architecture.
