Job summary

Brandes Associates Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Web Developer to architect, develop, and maintain mission-critical DoD software at Naval Base Point Mugu near Camarillo, CA.

The role requires 3+ years of full-stack experience and strong CI/CD pipeline proficiency in a SAFe/ Agile environment. You will mentor junior engineers and work with Java Spring Boot, ReactJS/Redux, RESTful services, Docker, Kubernetes, and relational databases to deliver secure, scalable solutions for a DoD

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development experience in full-stack solutions
• 3+ years with CI/CD in an agile DevOps environment
• 3+ years' experience with .NET, C#, JavaScript, containers, and microservices
• 3+ years' experience with SQL and database design
• 2+ years' experience with HTML and CSS
• 2+ years' experience with Git version control
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket
• Experience in Agile environments and as a Scrum team member
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Develop complex microservices-based systems using Java Spring Boot, ensuring scalability and fault tolerance
• Write high-performance, production-ready code in Java and TypeScript
• Develop responsive front-end applications using ReactJS/Redux, NPM, and Material UI
• Implement RESTful web services and APIs with security and documentation
• Utilize WebSockets for real-time communication in dashboards
• Configure and manage RabbitMQ for asynchronous processing
• Leverage JPA/Hibernate for database operations
• Perform automated testing (unit/integration/e2e)
• Manage Git version control and branching strategies
• Troubleshoot Kubernetes deployment issues across stack
• Code reviews and mentoring for junior developers
• Create technical docs in Confluence
• Manage tasks in JIRA and participate in SAFe ceremonies
• Contribute to architectural decision records
