Job summary

Verra Mobility is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to lead development of modern web and mobile applications in a cloud-first environment. You will work across product teams, clients, and government partners to design, build, and deliver scalable software solutions for connected transportation services.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software development, strong JavaScript and C#/.NET skills, and experience with Azure, REST APIs, and modern frontend frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of professional hands-on software development experience.
• Technical understanding of modern software development and cloud platforms.
• Self-motivated, fast-moving, and autonomous with the ability to adapt.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in Agile teams.
• Experience with intelligent transportation systems or IoT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software with attention to design and usability.
• Prioritize and manage tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards and test coverage.
• Collaborate with product, scrum teams, and external/internal groups.
• Develop tools and applications with clean, efficient code.
• Automate tasks with appropriate tooling and scripting.
• Review, debug, and validate software; document development phases.
