Job summary

Verra Mobility Corporation is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to lead design, development, and delivery of software solutions in a transportation-focused domain. The role involves building modern web and mobile applications, working with clients, government agencies, and cross-functional teams to identify breakthrough opportunities and create value through state-of-the-art technologies.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of professional hands-on experience in software development.
Technical understanding of modern software development and cloud platforms.
Self-motivated, fast-moving, and autonomous.
Comfortable wearing multiple hats and adapting to changing situations.
Good communication skills, knowledge sharing, and collaboration.
Experience with Agile project methodologies.
Experience with intelligent transportation systems, connected vehicles services, telematics or similar IoT solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop high-quality software with an eye for design and usability.
Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
Actively participate in code reviews to ensure coding standards and adequate code coverage.
Work with product teams, scrum teams, external, and internal groups.
Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code.
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
Review and debug code.
Perform validation and verification testing.
Document development phases and monitor systems.
