Job summary

Proofpoint is seeking a software engineer to build and operate the Threat Intelligence Services platform in Dallas, TX. You will own tools end to end, standing up the team's AWS environment and shipping APIs, integrations, and front-ends used by analysts daily.

You will work across Python services, React/Node.js front-ends, a headless CMS, and data stores like PostgreSQL and ElasticSearch, turning analyst workflows into automated, scalable products.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of professional software engineering experience with production systems.
• Hands-on AWS administration including EC2, Lambda, networking, and monitoring.
• API development and integration; React/Node.js frontend experience.
• Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL; ability to learn new systems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Own tools end to end: run the AWS environment, build APIs and integrations.
• Develop web front-ends and dashboards for analysts; ship automated workflows.
• Maintain the headless CMS portal and underlying data stores (PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch).
• Collaborate with analysts to automate repetitive tasks and ensure security.
