Job summary

Epitec is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to support a long-term enterprise modernization effort. The role focuses on transforming legacy Java/Spring and .NET/ASP.NET applications into cloud-native solutions using Node.js, TypeScript, Angular/React, and AWS.

The ideal candidate will lead technical decisions, design scalable backend services and modern UIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid environment (1 day in the office or fully remote).

Qualifications

• Senior-level full stack software engineering experience.
• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Frontend development with Angular and/or React.
• Experience modernizing legacy applications (Java/Spring and/or .NET/ASP.NET).
• Designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience in AWS cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and modernize enterprise software applications.
• Analyze legacy applications to understand business logic, integrations and dependencies.
• Refactor and re-platform to cloud-native architectures.
• Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs with Node.js/TypeScript.
• Build modern UI with Angular and/or React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Participate in architectural design discussions and code reviews.
