Capital One is seeking Full-stack Software Engineers to lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects within the Tech College Engineering Community Support team, delivering cloud-based solutions across AWS, Docker and Kubernetes, and collaborating with product managers to empower millions of Americans.

You will mentor engineers, set coding standards, and contribute to open source frameworks while applying Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Go and Scala across distributed microservices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field.
At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
At least 2 years of experience with public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.
Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions.
Provide technical leadership and set standards for design and operations.
Mentor engineers and contribute to open source frameworks.
Identify areas for refactoring and reduce technical debt.
