Job summary

Capital One is seeking Full-stack Software Engineers who will lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and mentor a team of developers. You will work with distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions that meet regulatory needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
6+ years of experience in software engineering.
3+ years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Master’s Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices.
Share passion for tech trends, mentor other engineers, and participate in tech communities.
Collaborate with digital product managers and deliver cloud-based solutions for millions of customers.
Utilize languages like Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript with databases and container tech.
Provide technical leadership across teams, shaping architecture and long-term technology direction.
Drive end-to-end design and implementation of large-scale, cloud-native systems with high reliability.
