Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Full-stack Software Engineer to drive a major transformation by leading diverse technology projects and a team of engineers across distributed microservices and full-stack systems. You’ll work with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python and other languages, leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services to deliver scalable cloud-based solutions.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product managers, influence architectural decisions, and help reduce technical debt

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with distributed microservices and full-stack systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.
• Collaborate with digital product managers and deliver cloud-based solutions.
