Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering)
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering
• At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization technologies

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full stack systems
• Mentor engineers and participate in internal/external tech communities
• Deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive experiences for millions of Americans
• Utilize Java, Python, Open Source RDBMS/NoSQL databases, Docker and Kubernetes, and AWS tools
• Provide technical leadership across teams and shape system architecture and long-term direction
• Drive end-to-end design and implementation of large-scale cloud-native systems
