Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping production systems or features.
• Experience building backend services with relational databases such as MySQL and working with microservices.
• Strong working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frontend frameworks or libraries.
• Solid system design, coding, and testing skills across both frontend and backend.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with product, design, and other engineering partners.

Responsibilities

• Build across the stack: design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, plus frontend applications.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers and designers to deliver features that solve customer problems.
• Maintain high code quality through clean, well-tested code and code reviews.
• Test and debug: write automated tests, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues in production.
• Contribute to system design with hands-on coding and architectural decisions to ensure reliability and security.
• Grow the team by mentoring and sharing ownership of technical standards.
