Job summary

Adonis is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to join our New York team, helping design and implement scalable healthcare AI orchestration solutions. You will work across the stack with Python, TypeScript/React, and PostgreSQL, shaping architecture and building robust APIs.

You will mentor engineers, drive best practices, and collaborate with product, design, and customer teams to deliver high-impact features. The role requires strong systems design, upfront thinking, and a product mindset.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with Python, TypeScript/React, and PostgreSQL.
• Deep understanding of Python and FastAPI with experience scaling client-facing apps.
• Strong systems design skills and knowledge of architectural tradeoffs for scalable software.
• Frontend development with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and web components.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of ORMs and their tradeoffs.
• Strong product sense and ability to prioritize MVPs.
• Ability to move quickly while maintaining long-term architecture and maintainability.
• Comfort with ambiguity and rapid prototyping; learn and iterate quickly.
• Strong problem-solving and independent collaboration skills.
• Experience with analytics tools or health tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Architecture & Development: design, architecture, and implementation of scalable software across the stack.
• End-to-End Engineering: prototype and develop web apps with complex interactions using Python, TS/React, PostgreSQL, Snowflake.
• API & Backend Ownership: build and maintain server-side apps, APIs, and databases.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Sales.
• Technical Leadership: lead projects and guide technical direction as a systems design expert.
• Quality & Best Practices: ensure code quality via testing, reviews, and best practices.
• Mentorship: coach junior engineers and raise technical standards.
