Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a senior software engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications. You will own features end-to-end and work across teams to deliver scalable, secure software in an agile environment.

The role requires strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, Ember, Node.js, RESTful APIs, and database experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB, plus Git workflows and test automation. Hybrid work is available; onsite three days weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Six to eight years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Software Engineering best practices.
• Building Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and optimizing queries.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Ability to build complex apps using Ember.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and http services using NodeJS / TypeScript.
• Writing tests (unit, integration, e2e).
• Experience with GIT version control - git flow development.
• Ability to communicate in English on a day to day basis.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional partners and independently drive projects and decisions.
