The role requires collaboration across teams, adherence to DevOps practices, and strong problem-solving skills. Applicants should have 2–3 years of relevant experience and a degree or equivalent work history.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Two to three years of relevant experience.
• Hands on technical knowledge in Cobol, DB2, JCL, VSAM and CICS.
• Experience with GitLab preferred.
• Adept with agile software development lifecycle and DevOps.
• Experience working in Financial institutions.
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Ability to define and fulfill solutions for end users.
• Strong communication with engineers, product owners and stakeholders.
• Understanding of design patterns and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products
• Takes full stack ownership by writing production-ready and testable code
• Adheres to architectural best practices for scalability, reliability and performance
• Performs analysis on failures and proposes design changes
• Maintains customer-centric design and code quality
• Participates in code reviews and enforces engineering standards
• Ensures compliance and security best practices across development
• Supports the bank’s technology transformation and continuous improvement
• Prioritizes tasks for incremental delivery and communicates blockers
