Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop and maintain full-stack applications, including React-based UI, APIs, and backend services.

You will drive modernization by migrating legacy/on-prem systems to cloud-native architectures on AWS or Azure, and build scalable, secure microservices with enterprise-grade performance. The role requires strong DevOps experience, CI/CD, and agile collaboration in Scrum/Kanban environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications with React-based UI, APIs, and backend services.
• Lead and contribute to modernization initiatives, migrating legacy/on-prem systems to cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure).
• Build and enhance scalable, secure APIs and microservices aligned with enterprise architecture and performance standards.
• Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver high-quality code and participate in design reviews.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation for reliable deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements in performance, reliability, and security.
