Job summary

United Future is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack to join a mission-driven SaaS team. You will build features end-to-end, shaping architecture and APIs while leveraging AI tools to boost productivity.

You’ll work with a collaborative engineering group that values ownership, innovation, and technical excellence. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience with Rails, React/TS, and PostgreSQL, and are comfortable with AWS, CI/CD, and modern development practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with SaaS or web-based product development.
• Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of AWS and cloud-based development.
• Experience owning features from design through production.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, and modern software practices.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently and with a team.
• Experience mentoring or guiding other engineers.

Responsibilities

• Build and own new product features from design through deployment and ongoing enhancements.
• Develop full-stack SaaS applications using Rails, React/TS, and PostgreSQL.
• Shape technical design decisions, architecture, APIs, and data models.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to evolve AI-driven engineering practices.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Own production performance, quality, scalability, and continuous improvement.
