Job summary

TeamEx Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to design, build, and maintain scalable healthcare-oriented web applications. The role emphasizes backend services, APIs, databases, and system architecture while collaborating with frontend and product teams.

You will work with Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL, own features end to end in a remote LATAM setting, and ensure security, performance, and reliability across deployments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Full Stack Developer with backend focus.
• Strong experience with Node.js, Express.js, PostgreSQL.
• Experience building scalable backend systems and REST APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines, AWS preferred.
• Experience working in remote or distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js
• Develop and scale RESTful APIs and backend systems
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and data models
• Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and security of backend services
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, and session based approaches
• Integrate third party APIs and external services
• Support CI CD pipelines and cloud deployments in collaboration with DevOps
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver backend solutions
• Document technical decisions and communicate progress in writing
