Job summary

Valitana is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a strong backend focus to help build and scale Vantage, our multi-asset trade and portfolio management platform used by institutional investors to manage complex workflows. The role will design, implement, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data pipelines, collaborating with frontend engineers to deliver secure, high-performance experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack or Back-End Developer in FinTech or technology.
• Proficiency in C#/.Net, ASP.Net Core, EF, SQL; Python is a plus.
• Experience with Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and distributed systems.
• Experience using Agile development methodologies.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently within a team.
• Experience with data-intensive, client-facing applications.
• Bachelors or higher in CS/Engineering.
• Preferred: understanding of financial products, especially structured products.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services, APIs, and core logic.
• Improve scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and client-facing teams.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and integrations with internal and external systems.
• Write, maintain, and review automated unit/integration tests.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, identify risks.
• Contribute to software design discussions, code reviews, and documentation.
• Support end-to-end delivery from design through deployment and monitoring.
