Job summary

Valitana is hiring a Software Engineer to build client-facing solutions on Vantage. You will work with clients, product and project managers to translate real-world requirements into production-ready implementations, including data integrations and reporting.

The role sits at the engineering-delivery intersection, ideal for an engineer who communicates with non-technical stakeholders and ships quickly.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with external clients.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Able to work independently or in a team.
• Experience with C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core is a plus.
• Financial industry experience with trade flow or portfolio data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver client-facing solutions, collaborating with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain third-party data integrations and parsers.
• Create client-facing reports and workflows within Vantage.
• Configure and support FIX Gateway connectivity for client trade flow.
• Investigate data quality issues and implement durable fixes.
• Contribute feature enhancements to core Vantage for all clients.
• Serve as a technical resource to Client Services and reduce escalations.
• Document integrations, configurations, and resolutions for onboarding reuse.
