Job summary

Brainner is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance borrower-facing experiences, underwriting engine, and third-party API services. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Design to deliver scalable features that help millions of users.

You will build a modern full-stack B2C loan origination system across AWS serverless, Salesforce automation, and Snowflake data infrastructure; mentor teammates; review code; and improve our DevOps and testing practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development and architecture experience on B2C products.
• Proven track record of overseeing product iterations from ideation to release.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Expertise in OO programming languages (Typescript/JavaScript, Python or Java).
• Expertise with React or React-based frameworks (Next/Remix).
• Fluent in CI/CD and Git workflows.
• Familiarity with Playwright and Jest.

Responsibilities

• Build a modern full-stack B2C loan origination system and extend existing platform.
• Write code and configure automation across AWS serverless, Salesforce, and Snowflake.
• Review code contributions and optimize performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ship quality automation.
• Translate business and UI requirements into technical specs.
• Adopt industry best practices for software delivery and lifecycle.
