ActioNet is seeking an experienced Senior Level Developer to design and build scalable software and data solutions for a mission-critical application. The ideal candidate will work across frontend and backend, emphasize clean code, API design, and performance, and participate in collaborative code reviews.

This role requires strong Python experience, AWS serverless services, REST APIs, and data transformation.

Qualifications

• 8 years of software development experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks and backend development.
• Strong focus on clean code, API design, performance, and peer reviews.

Responsibilities

• Feature Architecture: Designing small-to-medium systems, including scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Code Quality: Writing clean, testable code and conducting peer code reviews.
• API: Foundational understanding of RESTful or GraphQL APIs for team use.
• Performance: Identifying and fixing bottlenecks in SQL queries, frontend bundles, and data pipelines.
• Data Engineering: Build, maintain, and optimize ETL processes and data pipelines.
