NS2 Mission in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise applications spanning backend services, front-end interfaces, and AWS-based cloud deployments.

You will work across the stack with Java, RESTful APIs, and relational databases, collaborating with architects and mission stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-performance software while improving architecture and development practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Senior-level professional experience developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise software applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java for backend application development.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Hands-on experience working with relational databases, including SQL development, data access, and query optimization.
• Experience developing, deploying, or maintaining applications in AWS cloud environments.
• Understanding of software architecture, application integration, and full-stack development principles.
• Experience with version control, software testing, code reviews, and established development practices.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications spanning backend services, front-end interfaces, and database integrations.
• Build scalable backend components and application services using Java and modern software development frameworks.
• Design, implement, and integrate RESTful APIs to support application functionality and communication between systems.
• Develop and optimize database solutions, including queries, data models, and application-level data access.
• Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications within AWS environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and stakeholders to evaluate requirements, refine technical designs, and deliver effective software.
• Troubleshoot complex application defects, integration challenges, and performance issues across the technology stack.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to promote maintainable, reliable, and secure software.
• Contribute throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, development practices, and system scalability.
