Job summary

NS2 Mission seeks an Expert Software Developer to lead design and implementation of enterprise apps, web services, and cloud-native solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment. You will mentor junior engineers, drive architecture decisions, and ensure quality across the full software lifecycle while delivering mission-critical capabilities for national security programs.

Proficiency in Java, Angular, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines is highly preferred, with a passion for solving complex technical

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of software development experience.
Extensive experience with enterprise applications and web-based software.
Strong experience with Java application development.
Experience using Angular for front-end development.
Experience designing and developing web services and APIs.
Experience with Agile/SCRUM environments and Lean Agile methodologies.
Experience with Git and Jenkins.
Experience with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and QA.
Familiarity with Linux operating environments.
Experience translating requirements into scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise software applications and web-based solutions.
Provide engineering and programming support for mission and infrastructure-related projects.
Lead software design efforts and contribute throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle.
Analyze user and business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
Design application architectures, workflows, models, and diagrams to support development.
Develop and customize software applications to improve operational efficiency and mission effectiveness.
Support database design, integration, and development activities.
Develop and maintain websites and web applications, including deployment and sustainment.
Perform software testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and QA activities.
Provide technical analysis and reporting on project status, system performance, and development activities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical leadership to junior developers and analysts.
Serve as a technical consultant across multiple programs, projects, or contracts as needed.
