Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack to design, develop, test, and support modern web, API, service, security, reporting, and data access capabilities for regulated financial technology platforms in a FedRAMP High environment.

You will collaborate with product owners, analysts, architects, QA, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity teams while implementing secure coding, unit testing, and automated deployment practices.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of enterprise software development experience.
• Proficiency with Angular 18 or later, TypeScript, and modern UI development.
• Strong backend with Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Security, OAuth2, REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and Hibernate for data access.
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub/Bitbucket, Swagger/OpenAPI, unit and API testing, and secure cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, accessible, responsive UIs using Angular and TypeScript.
• Build and enhance Java Spring Boot services, REST APIs, and data services.
• Support transfer agency and fixed income processing workflows and reporting.
• Implement secure coding, testing, deployment practices, logging, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant features in FedRAMP High environments.
