Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Full Stack Engineer (Angular/TypeScript) to design, develop, test, and support web, API, and data services for regulated financial tech in a FedRAMP High environment.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable UI with Angular/TypeScript and robust backend services in Java/Spring Boot, with collaboration across product, architecture, QA, and security teams. Remote in the United States with flexible work-life programs.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of enterprise software development experience.
• Proficiency with Angular 18+ and TypeScript for modern UI development.
• Strong backend expertise with Java 17+ and Spring Boot, REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and Hibernate for data access.
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub or Bitbucket, Swagger/OpenAPI, and secure cloud deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, accessible, responsive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Angular Material, HTML5, CSS3, and enterprise design patterns.
• Build and enhance Java Spring Boot services, REST APIs, authentication/authorization workflows, and data services.
• Support transfer agency and fixed income processing functions, including reporting and audit trails.
• Implement secure coding, unit/API testing, automated build/deployment, logging, observability, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant features in a FedRAMP High environment.
