Job summary

Cognizant is hiring a Senior Software Engineer – Full Stack to design, develop, test, and support modern web, API, and data access components in a FedRAMP High environment. You will work with product owners, analysts, architects, QA, DevSecOps, and cybersecurity teams, delivering secure and compliant features.

Role requires strong Angular/TypeScript proficiency, Java 17+, Spring Boot, Oracle SQL/Hibernate, and hands-on CI/CD with Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of enterprise software development experience with strong full-stack capability.
• Proficiency with Angular 18 or later, TypeScript, and modern responsive UI development.
• Strong backend expertise with Java 17 or later, Spring Boot, Spring Security, OAuth2, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and Hibernate for enterprise data access.
• Experience with CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub or Bitbucket, Swagger/OpenAPI, unit and API testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, accessible, responsive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Angular Material, HTML5, CSS3.
• Build and enhance Java and Spring Boot services, REST APIs, auth workflows, and data services.
• Support transfer agency and fixed income processing functions including reporting and audits.
• Implement secure coding, unit testing, API testing, and automated deployment practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant features in a FedRAMP High environment.
