Job summary

AssetWorks is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the FleetFocus Engineering team. You will architect and implement features using Angular (TypeScript) on the front end and C#/.NET on the back end, designing scalable, secure, and maintainable software architectures.

You will leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, and Kiro to accelerate delivery while upholding code quality. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and strong API and database

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of development experience driving collaboration between engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated use of AI coding tools (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, Kiro, Codex) in professional development.
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET for backend services and APIs.
• Strong proficiency in Angular and TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features using Angular and C#/.NET.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Utilize AI coding assistants daily to accelerate responsibilities while ensuring high quality.
• Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure quality.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and database logic for SQL Server and Oracle.
• Maintain developer documentation and participate in code reviews.
