Job summary

The Astor Group seeks an experienced Full Stack Application Developer to join our Front Office Technology team in New York. You will design, develop, and enhance modern applications supporting Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, Sales & Distribution, and other investment professionals.

Work with Microsoft Fabric, AI, Power Platform, and cloud tech to build AI-powered solutions that transform how investment professionals discover research, analyze data, generate insights, and make decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5–10 years of professional experience developing enterprise web applications.
• Strong experience with: Angular16+, C#, .NET 6+/ .NET Core, Core REST APIs, EntityFrameworkCore, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• Strong SQL development skills using Oracle and/or SQL Server.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications using REST APIs, messaging, or other integration technologies.
• Experience with Power BI and Power Automate.
• Experience designing, developing, or integrating AI-enabled applications or services (LLMs, RAG, AI agents).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working within Agile software development teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support enterprise web applications using Angular, .NET, and Microsoft technologies.
• Partner directly with Portfolio Managers, Research Analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
• Develop modern, responsive user interfaces and scalable REST APIs.
• Design and optimize database objects, SQL queries, and application integrations.
• Build and integrate AI-powered capabilities into business applications, including intelligent search, conversational interfaces, document intelligence, workflow automation, and other emerging AI experiences.
• Develop solutions that leverage Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, enterprise data, and cloud services to improve business workflows and investment decision-making.
• Participate in architecture, design reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Contribute to technical standards and continuously identify opportunities to improve application quality, performance, and maintainability.
