Job summary

Iris Software Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead development and modernization efforts using .NET/C# and Angular. You will collaborate across teams, mentor peers, and apply AI responsibly to speed delivery and improve quality.

The role involves end-to-end ownership from architecture to deployment, with hybrid work arrangements. Prior experience with GitHub Copilot or similar tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in .NET/C# for building production services and APIs.
• Frontend experience with Angular and TypeScript for building maintainable UIs.
• Azure experience or equivalent cloud concepts with mapping across.
• DevOps fluency: Git-based workflows, CI/CD fundamentals, environment promotion.
• Software engineering practices: documentation that explains why and how, security and ops awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of new applications and modernize existing ones end-to-end.
• Convert legacy stacks to modern .NET and Angular incrementally.
• Apply secure-by-default practices: testing, logging, secret management.
• Document decisions, interfaces, and runbooks for teammates.
• Mentor others and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Adopt an AI-first development mindset to accelerate tasks with approved tools.
