Job summary

AV is seeking a Software Engineer / Full-Stack Developer to join an established customer-facing project supporting U.S. national security.

Hybrid work is available with offices in Herndon, VA, or Annapolis Junction, MD; an active TS/SCI clearance is required. Responsibilities include building features for a project on classified networks, leading software tool development, and applying Agile practices to deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of practical software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Build new features and capabilities for a software project deployed on classified networks.
• Design and deploy software tools for our customers’ mission.
• Code and test high-quality software in an Agile team environment with evolving requirements.
• Lead tasks in coordination with other technical resources.
• Work in a start-up-like environment emphasizing initiative, velocity, customer responsiveness, and collaboration.
• Implement AI capabilities to expand features and improve team efficiency.
