Job summary

Plug is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Engineering team in Sawtelle, Los Angeles. You will own customer-facing or internal products, work on AI-powered pricing, real-time APIs, and data pipelines to accelerate the wholesale EV market.

This in-person role requires 5–8 years of hands-on experience and strong TypeScript across the stack. You’ll collaborate in product design, architecture, and code reviews, design and ship features with a high bar for quality, and contribute to

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience delivering production applications.
• Proficiency in TypeScript across frontend, backend, and databases.
• Experience deploying cloud-hosted apps; infrastructure-as-code with Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and observability tooling.
• Ability to operate in agent-first development workflows and in agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product design sessions, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Design, implement, test, debug, and document features meeting business needs.
• Own features and products, plan with priorities in an agile environment.
• Write clear, scalable code and leverage AI tools where appropriate.
• Contribute to team productivity and process improvements.
• Use APIs to integrate Plug with 3rd party platforms.
• Mentor teammates and help shape nascent team culture.
