Job summary

Workday is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help shape the PCC platform, delivering user-facing experiences and resilient backend services that embed AI capabilities into HR and Finance workflows.

You will work within a small, cross-functional pod, designing end-to-end solutions at scale while contributing to the evolution of Workday's enterprise infrastructure. The role emphasizes high-impact work, architecture, and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in software development engineering, including designing, developing, and deploying software solutions.
• 5+ years experience with a web development framework (Python or Java strongly preferred).
• 5+ years experience with Backend development or Data Engineering in a cloud environment (AWS).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship full-stack solutions from intuitive front-end experiences to backend services that integrate AI-driven capabilities into HR and Finance workflows.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and dashboards for enterprise customers.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional pod to define strategy and establish new technical standards.
