Job summary

MOTER Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Frontend Leaning) to build and enhance MOTER’s web interfaces and supporting API services. The role combines frontend in TypeScript/React with backend work on AWS serverless services, including GraphQL and AppSync.

You will own end‑to‑end feature delivery, collaborate with product and design, and contribute to AI‑assisted coding and infrastructure tooling. Office in Torrance, CA, with in‑office Tuesdays/Thursdays.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 4 years in production frontend development.
• Strong production experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js or a comparable modern React framework.
• Solid foundation in HTML, CSS, accessibility, and web performance.
• Experience building high‑quality, data‑rich interfaces for complex workflows or multi‑step product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Build, ship, and maintain features across MOTER’s web applications from design through production support.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into intuitive, accessible interfaces.
• Extend and maintain the BFF and API layer, including authentication, pagination, and caching.
• Develop serverless services on AWS (Lambda, AppSync, DynamoDB) with a focus on reliability and security.
• Mentor engineers, contribute to design systems, and uphold code quality and tests.
