Marvin Behavioral Health is hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack, AI-Native) to ship in a TypeScript/Next.js stack with AI woven into product and workflow. The role is hybrid with 2 days in the office in LA or Denver, focusing on building AI-enabled member experiences and secure handling of health data.

You'll own features end-to-end across the web app, backend, and cloud infrastructure, collaborating with design, clinical, and partner teams to deliver high-quality software with strong

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production web applications with TypeScript/React/Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Own features end to end in a Next.js/React/TypeScript app, Prisma/Postgres backend, and AWS infra.
• Extend AI coach and build new LLM-powered member experiences: data retrieval, extraction, guided flows, and tool use.
• Design evaluation and observability for AI features to detect degradation.
• Advance AI-assisted development: agent instructions, reusable skills, hooks, MCP integrations, and robust testing practices.
• Handle sensitive health data with PHI boundaries, redaction, audit trails, and vendor data agreements.
• Review code from humans or agents with a critical eye; mentor teammates and raise testing standards.
